Hugely impressed by this fantastic showroom & the extremely knowledgeable manageress Dani. She couldnt have been more helpful without being pushy. We spent a number of hours in the shop & will definitely be returning to order once our building project is more progressed.
We moved to the Gerrard Cross area from Essex to a newly built house. As we were new to the area we spent a lot of time looking at Furniture Companies and came across Neville Johnson in Gerrards Cross. The Shorwoom displays are excellent and the Manageress, who knows her products, was extremely helpful in helping us making the right decisions. After several meetings with her and the Designer we in fact bought fitted furniture for our Lounge, two Bedrooms and our Study. The product is not cheap but it is very well made and we are delighted with the outcome. In fact so much so that we have recommended the Company to several other people in our village and Neville Johnson have fitted out many houses and apartments through our recommendation. Excellent Showroom Displays.
My visit was a classic for anyone working in a showroom: I arrived 15 minutes before closing time and was in a rush to get to my own next appointment. But I have hankered after some decent ideas for my work-in-progress redesigned home office for so long now and thought "If I don't drop in now, I never will". Perhaps I was fortunate to be met by Dani, the Showroom Manager, or perhaps all the folk in the Gerrards Cross branch of Neville Johnson are just as good. What I was delighted to experience was an individual who was quick as a flash in 'assessing a customer'. In my case, that's about going through my options in lightning-fast fashion and, without getting defensive, looking me in the eye when giving me rough prices for each type of product and service. I know where I stand. This is the whole point of a showroom: exceptional staff who understand people and with products on display that make the rhetoric come to life. Oh yes, I can see the design and build quality for myself (sadly, I can't live with the Showroom Manager but I could at least have that furniture she has described, for many years to come). All I have to do is persuade the woman I do live with that this is 'a vital investment' to enhance our home...
This is a company to avoid. Quality nothing like the price you pay and the service is awful. Do not do it to yourself. 1- Quality is far from expected. If I wanted to see nail marks I would not have come to you for 2 bookcases at 15,000. IKEA does a much better job for a lot less money and hassle.2- The product was supposed to be delivered and installed in March. It is the end of June and there are parts missing. Ladder, shelves, access panel etc.3- Why would a made to measure product block my access to TV/Areal/satellite/main telephone socket points without an access panel?4- I have been given a phone number as my "local London contact". He has not once picked up the phone when I called and I have called him several times.5- The status of the product being incomplete they have threatened me to charge my card without my authorisation! How fraudulent a company can be?6- In May they were supposed to come and deal with this, I took a day off and stayed at home - no show!7- I now want to return the substandard product for a full refund and they want to charge me for the outstanding 20% when the product is still incomplete!Avoid.
