Mark Ashby is the most difficult person to work with I have ever experienced. We used Creative Interiors to fit out our new offices in High Wycombe. We are a small business with about 10 employees. The consultation process went ok. I did detect that Mark had some sort of social skills shortage, and was a little difficult when I told him we'd be using separate contractors for data, heating and alarm. He obviously makes quite a good kickback on these services which made his quotes uncompetitive. What this meant for us though, was that he was less than accommodating towards them during the built process. I also sourced the kitchen myself, and had Mark quote for assembling it. He did assemble is, wrong, and then charged me to out it right. Misquoted for the electrics also which cost me an extra grand. Kitchen still has snagging issues, as does the rest of the office, which he will not respond to me on, because he's currently refusing to collect his rubbish. He will never ever admit fault, for anything. This makes him extremely difficult to work with. I've given up now. I won't have him back. I don't want to speak to him again. He makes my blood boil. If you don't care about getting things the way you like them, general results and want somebody to make all the decisions about your office build and do it completely his way, even if you know he is wrong, this guy might work out well for you. For me, I'll be going elsewhere next time.As a side note - Most of his contractors were great. I'd work with them again, just not him.
