What a great scouting location, everything in one place, from wall climbing to camping and hunts around a massive green space. To top it off I recommend the annual fireworks display for guy forks night. It's just brilliant and looks so professional. Last year's was done by the people that do the new years fireworks display in central london. Make it even better and get a hot drink and buy some of those light things for the kids.

A large Scout camp and one we return to every year. A warning when you're setting up a tent there. The ground has a layer of stone/rocks a couple of inches down so you would be advised to use rock pegs. There are four sets of bathrooms here. One for young people, up to the age of 16 (male and female) and then an adults set (male and female) adults are NOT allowed in the under 16's bathrooms. They're serviceable but obviously being a campsite you would expect to see a certain amount of dirt. There is also a gift/tuck shop on site where you can get slushy drinks, confectionery or souvenirs.

A wonderful centre, well organised, lots of exciting activities for all abilities, plus enthusiastic & well trained staff. Very well used, hosting popular events for Scouts Association groups,as well as schools etc.The firework display is a super family event each year.Have experienced it from both sides;as a parent of Beavers,Cubs,Scouts & Explorers, then with children at both ends of the teenage years, who love volunteering there as Crew. Amazing experiences throughout.

Oh my - what an amazing experience we had here. I thought camping meant just staying in a tent. This was like an adventure holiday. I couldn't believe how much work went on behind the scenes, but BIG thank you to everyone who my the weekend I come a reality. Both staff and volunteers.

Beautiful scout camp with a vast array of activities, stunning views and great parking. Can't really ask anything else of a scout camp really!Huge climbing tower, zip lines, teepees, adventure trails, well located buildings and facilities, I can't imagine a better place for kids to have adventures.Tucked away off the M25 near a small village it's secluded enough to get away from noise but still close enough to be accessible.Good, keen and helpful staff.Highly recommended.
