Good food in a nice and cozy environment. Staff is friendly and competent. A wider selection of local beers would be nice.
Roast was to die for. I hate to say it but better than the royal standard. Very stingey on dessert portions though
Pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Squid was excellent. Venison so salty I couldn't eat it. Deserts were good.
We had an organised meal with a large group. Soup and main we're good, turkey and roast potatoes excellent, sprouts I would have preferred a little more cooked. Christmas pudding tart nothing special, would have preferred conventional Christmas pudding. Service very good, staff very friendly.
